Terms of Service — Model Mentor Institute

These Terms of Service govern your use of Model Mentor Institute ("the Platform"), operated by Model Mentor LLC ("we", "us") at app.mymodelmentor.com. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Participant Agreement you sign at first login.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under your applicable law to use the Platform.

2. Account registration

Accounts are created automatically when you complete a paid subscription via Stripe. We use passwordless email magic-link authentication. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure; anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you.

3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe at the price displayed at checkout.
You may cancel at any time via the Manage subscription portal in your account dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues through the end of your paid period.
Prices may change for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers are honored at the price they checked out at unless we give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.

4. Refunds

Refunds for the current billing period are at our sole discretion and are typically granted only for documented technical inability to access content. Refunds are NOT granted in cases of breach under §6 of these Terms. Email support@mymodelmentor.com to request a refund.

5. Educational purpose only — no advice

All content on the Platform is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing here constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. No content is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or other financial instrument.

Trading-related lessons use closed historical data only. There are no live signals, no real-time market recommendations, no trading rooms, no Discord groups, and no published trade ideas of any kind associated with the Platform.

6. Acceptable use and IP

You agree NOT to:

Screen-record, screenshot, photograph, or otherwise capture any video lesson or course material.
Redistribute, resell, repost, share login credentials for, or otherwise make available any course content to any person who has not separately purchased access.
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Platform's DRM (Widevine / FairPlay), watermarking, or screen-capture protections.
Use the Platform in any unlawful manner or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms or your Participant Agreement.

All curriculum, course videos, written materials, and platform software are the property of Model Mentor LLC or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to view the content for your own educational use only.

Every video stream carries a dynamic floating watermark containing your email and user ID. Each playback session is logged with your identity, IP, and device for forensic trace. Breach of this Section 6 may result in immediate revocation of access without refund, civil action for damages, chargeback dispute, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.

7. DRM and supported devices

Content playback requires hardware DRM support. Playback may be refused on devices or browsers that lack Widevine / FairPlay, on rooted or jailbroken devices, or where screen-capture cannot be reliably blocked. We do not guarantee playback on every device.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MODEL MENTOR LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST INVESTMENT GAINS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Model Mentor LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or the Participant Agreement. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, refunds, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and by a banner on the Platform, and may require you to re-sign your Participant Agreement. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
